Private Video Chat
video calls connect web browsers in private peer-to-peer networks in which end-to-end encrypted video + audio flows directly between devices with no web server in the middle.
Text messages and files sent during calls also go peer-to-peer, protected by end-to-end encryption.
The video-call button
appears in the Messenger
window when your Contact person is available. You can also enter the video-call window using the
button in the main site menu.
In the video-call window there are settings for webcam and microphone and functions for screen-sharing, taking snapshots, recording and playing videos, and for "Auto Answer".

If you have multiple webcams or mikes connected, the Camera and Microphone controls allow you to choose which one to use.
Under Camera you can un-set "Camera on at startup" if you prefer voice-only mode. The camera can be switched on and off during calls.
Click Auto Answer to switch Auto Answer on or off. When on, incoming calls are answered automatically and your outgoing video stream can be your webcam, a video that you are playing, or a screenshare.

to share your screen.
Click Play video file
to select and stream a video from your computer instead of webcam and mike.
Click Video Recorder
to record a video, or record the incoming video stream while in a call.
Click the Contacts
to open the Contacts list.
Click a Contact's name to start a video call.
Switch between the Contacts list and the Call Groups list using the Contacts Online

Click a Group name to start a group video call.

||The Microphone button mutes/ activates your microphone.
||The Messenger button shows/ hides the text messenger.
||The Display button thumbnails your own video, maximizing the others.
